Sire Custodians Ltd is the leading provider of syndicate management and consultancy services to the Australian thoroughbred industry. 

Sire Custodians Ltd maintains a comprehensive library of precedent documentation for the entire range of bloodstock transactions and is in a position to provide prompt, cost effective expert advice on all ownership and syndicate issues.

All documentation prepared by Sire Custodians Ltd (in consultation with Macquarie Legal Practice) complies with relevant rules and regulations, and includes appropriate procedures for ongoing effective management, including dispute resolution.

JOHN COUGHLAN

JOHN FRANCIS COUGHLAN B Ec. Dip. Rur. Acc. FCA FCPA has held various Management and Regulatory positions within the Australian Thoroughbred, Harness and Greyhound Industries, including Chief Executive - Queensland Principal Club, Chief Executive - Greyhound and Harness Racing Regulatory Authority, Chief Financial Executive - Australian Jockey Club, Finance Manager - Sydney Turf Club. 

He is, currently, Chairman, Australian Physie and Dance Association Pty Ltd; Chairman, Finance, Operations and Risk Management, Odyssey House and a former Chairman of Odyssey House, NSW State Congress of CPA's and the Finance Committee of the Trustees of the Sisters of Mercy.

NIALL  POWER

NIALL PATRICK POWER  has thirty (30)  years experience working in various positions in the thoroughbred industry both in Australia and internationally.

Niall has been very involved in the Internet since returning to Australia in August 1997 when he started his first web development company and began developing websites for the leading studs and trainers in the thoroughbred industry.

Along the way, Niall's company was the first company outside the USA to broadcst a horse auction live on the internet.  This was in 1999 for Gerry Harvey and John Singleton's Magic Millions Sale.  In 2001, Niall co-founded Streaming Media Australia which received over $4million in funding and moved to Silicon Valley.

In 2003, Niall secured the Australasian license for Live Global Bid, the world's leading Real Time Live Internet auction software, some of Niall's clients include some of the words leading auction companies, including Inglis, Magic Millions, Tattersalls (UK) and Arqana (FR).

Niall created several breakthrough initiatives in the thoroughbred industry. In 2002, Niall broke new ground when running the world's first online auction for unborn thoroughbred foals, followed by a foal at foot auction the following year and partnered with the Sunday Herald to produce a 16 page supplement called Thoroughbreds, which was a feature in the Easter Sunday paper.

From 1992 to 1997, Niall owned and operated a very successful Snap printing franchise in Dublin and was awarded Franchise of the Year in 1996.  Prior to this, Niall ran a large thoroughbred stud in the Hunter Valley and bred and sold Subzero, winner of the 1992 Melbourne Cup, and from 1977 to 1987, Niall held various management roles at the world renowned Coolmore Stud, Ireland. 

LINDA  FLEITER

Linda Ann Fleiter is Manager, IT and Advisory at Sire Custodians. She has ten (10) years experience in the syndication and management of thoroughbred horses.

ANTHONY BRIAN FLEITER;

B.Ec LLB, is the principal of law firm Macquarie Legal Practice.  He has twenty-five (25) years experience in the management and syndication of thoroughbred racehorses and stallions.

He has travelled extensively and has a working knowledge of the thoroughbred industry throughout Australia, Japan, United Kingdom, Ireland, France, USA, South Africa, Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong and New Zealand.

Whilst General Manager of Dalgety Bloodstock International from 1984 to 1993 he was responsible for the conduct of all sales conducted in Melbourne by Dalgety Bloodstock International and for three (3) years from 1990 to 92 inclusive was also responsible for the conduct of the Gold Coast Magic Millions yearling sales.

He established the Annual Malaysian National Stud Sale of Two-year-olds and has also made numerous presentations, including to the Members of the Victoria Racing Club, Hong Kong Jockey Club, International Breeders Convention and Sydney Turf Club Horse Festival.



 


KNOWLEDGE RESOURCES AND STRATEGIC ALLIANCES

SIRE CUSTODIANS LTD has the knowledge, resources and strategic alliances to manage and develop profitable horse racing and horse breeding syndicates in the thoroughbred industry.  Current resources and alliances include:-

Accounting and administration: SIRE CUSTODIANS LTD employees a full-time Accounts and Administration Manager and experienced support staff to ensure the efficient operation and maintenance of records of all Syndicates under management.

Audit:  Most of the Horse Racing and Horse Breeding Syndicates promoted by SIRE CUSTODIANS LTD are also managed by SIRE CUSTODIANS LTD on an ongoing basis and are subject to strict regulation, including annual audit.

Michael Yuan (Singapore) Michael is our resident authorised representative in Singapore.  He has co-owned/raced successful horses including Q.E.II Cup winner Southern Dancer.
